Local Peoples is seeking enthusiastic and talented Azure DevOps Administrator in the ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, WA to join our team as embedded members with our prestigious Government client. Within the department, the Digital Solutions Division contributes delivering a wide range of digital programs and initiatives that support better digital experiences and improved outcomes for the department and its customers.
Working in the Employment Systems Pipeline team, the DevOps Administrator is responsible for administration of our Azure DevOps server instance. They are also responsible for the maintenance of a branching and building a large codebase (~1000 builds) in Azure DevOps services, using a variety of automation tools including DevOps APIs and PowerShell.
These tasks support the team’s ability to use DevOps automated deployment pipelines and push code through the development and test environments and then onto production.
Responsibilities:
Manage upgrades of Azure DevOps Server.
Assist in creation of new CI builds.
Maintenance and changes to existing CI builds, including using automation via PowerShell and DevOps API.
Support for builds that fail, including root cause analysis and guidance to avoid repeat occurrences.
Management of build agents and associated windows servers.
Essential Criteria:
Knowledge and experience with Administration of Azure.
Advanced knowledge and experience using PowerShell to automate administrative tasks.
Experience working in a predominantly Microsoft environment (Azure DevOps, windows, .net, visual studio, etc).
Previous experience working on the Department’s Employment and Workplace Relations IT systems or experience in a Government Agency is highly desired.
